Toot!

I just polished off my dinner of corned beef and cabbage.  We were going to have it New Year's Day, but I overslept, so we went out for pizza instead.

Sean gets on a plane early in the morning, and Frank and I will have the house to ourselves for 3 weeks or so.  He and his friend Charlie are going all up and down the East Coast.

The first 100 hours or so of MP3's are fully organized in my new digital library (the 2 backup DVD-ROM's that held V/Vm 365 and the Freenoise Archive).  On a side note, James has pulled the plug on the V/Vm project and the V/Vm Test label.  He will continue to work under his other aliases, e.g. The Stranger and The Caretaker.  The two releases he made under those names last year certainly go to show he's got plenty of great, challenging music left in him.

I found out my nephew doesn't sing for the Cleveland Opera anymore.  He didn't get along with the new director.  He is studying to become a music librarian now.

The holiday craziness is finally over, and tomorrow I get to start catching up on everything I put on hold about 6 weeks ago.  Whee.  :p  Welcome back and congratulations to everyone who survived the season.

Oh, and blah for the Colts getting knocked out of the playoffs.  I thought Tom Brady's season-ending injury early on would be Indy's golden opportunity, but it didn't pan out that way; we had our own injury problems, and I guess they nickel-and-dimed us to death.  Maybe next year.
